Established in 1987 P W Goddard is a well established company with three divisions providing plumbing and heating, electrical and mechanical and ceramic tiling to the commercial customer both as main and sub contractors.

Our clients are typically main contractors, consultants, public authorities,housing development companies, architects and various other developers. We operate in London and the South East of the country.

We have enjoyed steady growth in our fields by providing quality of service and highly qualified and motivated staff. We are flexible in projects undertaken and contracts range from as little as one thousand pounds up to several million.

Presently employing sixty-five staff offering a broad range of expertise, supported by an experienced management team. We are a multi disciplined, customer focused company that endeavours to produce the highest quality of work in a timely manner.

As you would expect we have full public and employer liability and professional indemnity. We have a strict health and safety policy, ongoing training programmes and staff that offer a wide range of skills All our operatives hold CSCS cards.

Our History

Our founder - Paul Goddard, began as a self-employed plumber in 1987 after serving a five-year apprenticeship. Working on small domestic contracts to begin with, the company grew as he established a good reputation for quality of work. Larger contracts presented themselves and the company continued its expansion to its present staffing levels and an annual turnover of several million.

The Electrical and Mechanical division began in 1992. The company found it was completing more mechanical, air conditioning and electrical work and established a separate company to deal with this type of work. Working closely with the plumbing and heating division it has grown steadily.

Our companies were now able to offer a truly multi disciplined service to its clients. Because of our diversity and ability in several areas we now provide our services to many large companies. Kier, Costain Construction, Croudace, Tesco, Wallis, Metropolis, Durkans, Buxtons, Verry Construction and Crems are just a few of the companies we have successfully completed work for.

The Ceramic tiling division was established in 1993. We began as a tiling contractor for new housing developments and have expanded our services since then. It is a separate division with its own director and management team and has an annual turnover of circa £1,200,000 pounds.
